These are some of the children we have
chosen from the community who's parents are unable to contribute financially
towards the cost of their education. We would like to match each one
of them with an individual, family or group of concerned people who
are not only able to help us cover the costs of educating these children
but can also dedicate a little time to corresponding with the selected
child and forming a mutual relationship over time. These children not
only need a good education, they also need to know that someone in the
world really cares how they are doing in their individual learning adventure.

Reyna's father, Reynaldo, has worked on our construction
project at CBS, and also sells oranges from a fruit stand. The children
live alone with Reynaldo in a tiny adobe hut. Reynaldo is a wonderful
father, and always takes impeccable care of the children, washing their
clothes every night and packing their lunches. We have been impressed
with Reynaldo's care of the children, as when they were done school
and he was working in construction at CBS, he would always keep a careful
eye on them as they played in the schoolyard.
